Who We Are
In 1991, the New Mexico Health Care Association/New Mexico Center for Assisted Living created a self-insured workers' compensation fund, the New Mexico Health Care Workers’ Compensation Group (the Group), to provide a local and predictable workers' compensation solution for the long-term care and related industries in New Mexico.
The Group strives to provide competitive and stable premiums by working with individual members to improve safety in their facilities.
The Group pays surplus premium dividends to members that have successfully controlled losses. Since its creation, the Group has paid over $6.8 million in surplus premium dividends to members.
